It has just been annouced by Fedor himself that he will be headlining the upcoming and for sold Mixed Martial Arts video game which furthermore is being made by EA Sports. The announcement came during his press conference being held in California this afternoon. Also announced for the upcoming video game entitled “EA Sports MMA” were Gegard Mousasi and Renato “Babalu” Sobral.Other fighters rumored to be taking part in the game are Randy Couture, Tim Sylvia, Bobby Lashley and Nick Diaz.
What would be cool is if they were UFC Fighters such as Brock Lesnar and GSP on this game, I’d like to put Fedor vs Brock just for a laugh! Will this game be popular? Probarbly not as Popular as the UFC game. Why? Because people who bought the UFC game bought it because of the Brand UFC. EA sports releasing a MMA Game with people who don’t know the likes of Nick Diaz, Fedor and Bobby Lashley won’t make the game that popular.
I’m not putting the game down but many people bought the UFC game and 70% of these people didn’t even know what MMA is or who the fighters are but they bought it because they have heard of an extreme sports called MMA. It’s crazy I know many people like to think of themselves as hardcore fighters because they’ve seen one MMA event. It’s stupid and I hate it, But I hope the best for the up coming game EA Sports MMA and I hope it’s a success.
The “EA Sports MMA” video game will be released sometime in 2010 for both Play station 3 and Xbox 360 Consoles. Stay tuned at My Cage as we will be soon revealing the other fighters on this game and of course screenshots!

I don’t think this game will be as popular as UFC just for the fact that many people bought UFC because they have heard of this crazy cage fighting by a brand called UFC. Furthermore and they were a lot of popular fighters on the UFC game such as Brock Lesnar, Rampage Jackson, Frank Mir Etc.
I think the EA Sports MMA will be good but will it be a success? Hmm We will just have to wait till 2010 to find out! They definitely have to up there game to beat the UFC game, that’s for sure.
