Cheick Kongo is scheduled to face Frank Mir at UFC 107, furthermore at the Wolfslair camp they will be working there asses of because they now have 2 fighters on the UFC 107 Card. Let’s started with Cheick Kongo (14-5-1) coming of a loss to Cain Velasquez, and Frank Mir (12-4) coming of a loss to Brock Lesnar. Cheick Kongo vs Frank mir will be an Interesting fight because both fighters are totally versatile and very different fighters. Cheick Kongo has great stand up but his ground game is worse than a wet fish trying to get back into water.
Where as Frank Mir’s stand up has got amazing within the last few fights, Frank’s stand up looked great against Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira. I actually think Frank could stand with Cheick and give check a run for his money, if Frank play’s it smart he will take Cheick down and just ground and pound or use his Brilliant BJJ Skills to get the win. Furthermore we haven’t really seen a great deal of Cheick Submission defense but we have seen that he cannot do shit on the ground. I think Frank will pull this one out the bag and fight his way back up to Lesnar. Why Did I say Lesnar? Because I presume Lesnar will be holding that title for a LONG while. Mir’s camp has stated they have yet to hear of this fight request, but have stated they are definitely interested in fighting Kongo.
Now for the 2nd fight in the Wolfslair camp is Quinton Jackson (30–7) will go against Rashed Evans (13–1–1) This is going to be a great fight, I think it will stay on the feet and I just think it will be a slug fest. I think both fighters are great guys and Rashed’s very humble, This is truly going to be a grudge match when it comes down to UFC 107. Both fighters hate each other, I mean these 2 fighters nearly started fighting at UFC 100. Honestly I think Quinton Jackson looked great against Wanderlei Silva but then he looked a bit dry against Keith Jardine I mean he only just pulled the decision out and they wasn’t even any good punches in my honest opinion so I think if Rashed has the determination and shows the skills that he has shown in the past, I think Rashed will get the W for this fight.

I am looking forward to seeing Frank fight again as he is an exciting fighter and I always think he is crazy at what he does.
I have respect for Mir he’s a good fighter who’s been a bit unlucky imo.
He’s a great fighter, but I wouldn’t say he was unlucky. Brock Lesnar is just a fucking animal and he showed that when hitting mir with his lunch boxes. Mir is a great fighter and i’d put him 2nd best in the heavyweight devision.
