It’s official Belfort is now scheduled to go up against Fedor Emilianenko in Affliction: Trilogy on August 1, 2009, in place of Josh Barnett, who was denied a fight license by the California State Athletic Commission for failing a pre-fight drug test. We have been told by our Sources that Vitor will be taking up the Bout. This is going to be one great fight don’t get me wrong, Vitor is one tough SOB! August these 2 phenomenal fighters will go against each other for the WAMMA Heavyweight Championship.
If I’m a little honest I wasn’t that impressed knowing Josh Barnett wasn’t fighting Fedor because it was afflictions main card and attraction. I am kinda impressed with Vitor’s striking though, he is an awesome strike and would love him to just stand and bang with Fedor.
